The JOFRA ETC-400A heats up by up to 100°C / 212°F per minute and completes a full dual-point test in less than 10 minutes, including stability time; timesavings at your fingertips!
The JOFRA ETC series is designed for field testing of temperature measurement devices. The small size and light weight make it a perfect instrument to verify sensors in difficult to reach places.
The JOFRA ETC-400R is designed for fast and reliable calibration of infrared thermometers.
All JOFRA ETC units have many of the same useful and timesaving features as the more advanced JOFRA dry-block series.
• Complete series of temperature and IR calibrators
• Multi-hole well design
• RS232 and JOFRACAL calibration software
• Multi information display
• Auto stepping
• Stability indicator
• Count down timer (shows when unit is stable)
• Programable maximum temperature
• Fast simulation/training mode
• Re-calibration from keyboard
Two models - The JOFRA ETC series consists of two different models which differ in temperature range. Both units offer similar features and the large, backlit LCD display panel, which is easy-to-read even in well-lit areas. A rugged, slim-line stainless steel outer casing with rubber coating to protect the instrument in the industrial enviroment.
Well - optimized for speed - The heating block is built around a highly efficient heating element. The holes for the sensor under test are drilled directly into the block. This minimize the block mass and the return is an extremly fast heat up time.
IR calibration - ETC 400R is designed for optimum speed connection with calibration of infrared thermometers. The 36 mm target provides the optimum size for reliable calibration of infrared thermometers in the process industry as it is designed for high accuracy and long-term stability while maintaining speed.
Keyboard & Display - Dual information display telling both the SET temperature and the TRUE temperature.
Stability indicator - Clear audio and visual prompts when the temperature is stable. 3 minutes before the unit is stable the display is showing a count down timer in the lower part of the display.
Auto step - The calibrator will automatically change to the next programmed value. This allows the calibrator to be placed anywhere in the process while you monitor the output from the sensor-under-test in the control room.
Easy maintenance - If adjustment of the calibrator is needed, use the built-in routine. No need for a computer or a screwdriver. "Calibration Date" is shown each time the instrument is switched on.
Simplified calibration documentation - All ETC series calibrators are delivered with an RS232 serial interface and the JOFRACAL calibration software.
JOFRACAL software presents the means for an entirely automatic calibration of sensors and a semi-automatic calibration of the complete process loop through the use of a PC.
