Hioki ST4030A is an impulse winding tester that combines the functions of both a resistance meter and insulation-withstand testing required for electric motor winding manufacturers to improve quality. The ST4030A is used to test for layer shorts between windings that occur in components such as motor inductors or coils. It can detect single-turn faults by quantifying response waveforms, perform tests on motors after rotor installation and is capable of high-precision waveform detection.
