The testo 205 starter set provides a practical solution for measuring pH value and temperature in semi-solid food products. Along with the testo 205 instrument, the set includes a belt/wall bracket, a gel-filled storage cap, two pH buffer solutions at pH 4 and pH 7 for routine checking and adjustment, and a robust aluminium case for safe storage and transport.
Designed for semi-solid food media
The testo 205 is specifically suited to measurements in semi-solid media, including meat, cheese, and dough. Its robust construction and durable pH measuring tip make it particularly useful for monitoring food quality and the degree of meat maturation in butcher’s shops, slaughterhouses, and the meat-processing industry.
pH and temperature measurement
The instrument measures pH value and temperature simultaneously. Its integrated temperature sensor provides precise temperature compensation, supporting accurate pH measurements. The pH probe uses a gel electrolyte, making it maintenance-free, leak-proof, and less sensitive to dirt. A hole diaphragm enables fast and reliable measurements. The combined pH measuring tip with temperature probe can also be replaced by the user, avoiding the need to purchase a new measuring instrument.
Equipment and features
– Illuminated display shows pH value and temperature simultaneously.
– Auto-hold automatically records the reading when the measured value is stable, while an advisory tone indicates stability.
– Gel-filled storage cap protects the pH probe between measurements and helps extend probe durability while reducing maintenance time and costs.
– Supplied belt/wall bracket allows secure storage on a belt or wall.
– One-point or two-point calibration is supported.
– DAkkS-certified calibration solutions can be used with the integrated dosing aperture in the calibration dosing bottle, helping ensure economical use of calibration solution.
– Robust aluminium case provides safe transport and storage.
Standard set: testo 205 pH and temperature measuring instrument, storage cap with gel, 2x 250 ml calibration dosing bottles (pH 4 and 7), belt/wall bracket and aluminium case.
