The Meatest 9000 is a portable multifunction calibrator developed specifically for calibrating 3½-digit and 4½-digit multimeters. Building on its predecessor, the M143, it expands calibration capabilities with wider frequency ranges, a capacitance function, and stronger outputs. These features support the demands of modern handheld instrument testing, including LoZ function calibration, as well as work with panel meters, process meters, and other relevant meter types.
Portable design for onsite calibration
With dimensions comparable to a briefcase and a weight of just 11 kg, the Meatest 9000 is suited to calibration tasks performed on site. Its compact format makes the instrument practical to transport between work locations while providing a range of functions for multimeter calibration.
The 8-inch touchscreen is designed with large control zones to help accommodate inaccurate touch inputs. Its considered touch-control layout also helps make operation straightforward for calibration personnel. Together, the portable construction and accessible interface support convenient use in different calibration environments.
Connectivity and calibration automation
The Meatest 9000 includes USB, Ethernet, and IEEE488 interfaces for remote control and automated operation. These connections make it suitable for integration into calibration laboratory workflows and industrial test rigs where remote operation or automation is required.
The calibrator is fully compatible with Meatest calibration software, including the CALIBER/WinQBase package. It also supports the CamOCR Camera Readout Module. This combination helps make handheld multimeter calibration more effective, particularly when the calibration process is managed through compatible software tools.
The Meatest 9000 combines portable operation, expanded calibration functions, touchscreen control, and automation interfaces in a calibrator designed for practical multimeter calibration in field, laboratory, and industrial test environments.
